Description
Founded in 1849, in Reims, by Léon BINET, the brand rapidly expands internationally. At the beginning of the 20th century, it ranks among the first “grandes marques” of Champagne Houses.
In a more anecdotal way, Léon BINET has the ambition to improve the Champagne production techniques. Thus, at the end of the 19th century, he invents the principle of “refrigeritive degorgement”, technique now being in universal use throughout the world of sparkling wines.
Today, Champagne BINET is run by the PRIN family in respect with the traditions that made its success. The consistent quality of the brand is ensured by the qualitative choice of grapes supplies coming from vineyards located in the best crus of Champagne.
